Rhythm Revival, The University of Gloucestershire DJ and Dance Music Society
Welcome to Rhythm Revival. The society for all those students passionate about DJing and dance music. This year is our first year and hopefully we will get off to a good start. Along with some wicked DJ nights there are going to be plenty of mad socials as well. If you like tearing up the dance floor with either a set of turntables or your best dancing feet, then you're in the right place.

Whats New
Open Decks night is now taking a break and we are moving our night to Fridays, check out the flyer on the Events page for more details. DJ Nyal has teamed up with DJ Boast and are set to make some big changes.
As time goes on we need the help of the clubbers in the society just as much as the DJs. If anybody is interesting helping in promoting please let us know. We need a lot of people to lend a hand in things like marketing (flyering, poster design etc), website contribution (reviews, top tens, profiles etc) and also general help on the night (lighting, dancers etc). Also feedback is needed from people like yourselves on what sort of nights you would really like to see or be a part of.

We are moving to Fridays

Rhythm Revival's main night will now no longer be a Tuesday and will be Friday instead. The night will now not be open decks and will just concerntrate on funky house. Whilst the open deck's was a reasonable success and really highlighted some fantastic student DJ talent, it was clear that things needed to move up a gear. We will of course run midweek open deck nights, but only for when DJ's are looking for experience.
DJ's Boast and Nyal will be taking the helm on a Friday. These two are working a lot together to bring some fine quality dance music and acts to the students union. Their back to back sessions on the decks have astounded all and really should be checked out. One thing is for definite is that the student union is changing for the better and Rhythm Revival is right at the front of it all.
